There are now more than 250,000 Plug-in Electric Vehicles on UK roads, where the expectation is that there will be over 11 million by 2030. Research shows increased purchases of electric/hybrid vehicles, and we expect it to rise considerably over the next few years. We have strict minimum standards of repair and procedure in place and our repairers are required to qualify with a minimum level-3 electric vehicle and ATA certification before they are permitted to work on any vehicle repair. National’s 24/7 Deployment Capabilities
All of our repair deployment is handled in-house from our deployment centre, where our experienced call handlers can book repairs into any postcode in the UK. Our advisors have access to policyholders’ contact details, information about their vehicle and an initial assessment of damage, which is transferred across from the team handling the initial contact with that policyholder.
Placing an electric or hybrid vehicle engine to the right repair centre is our key objective and we used sophisticated intelligent systems to book a repair, all in real-time. Further to this, National provide Fast Track repair solutions if the damage to a vehicle is minor in nature, offering electric vehicle same day repairs and mobile repairs to your desired location.
Progressing an Electric Vehicle Repair
